Academic Board Elections

Every two years elections are held for the following categories of Academic Board members:

In addition, elections are held every year for student representatives.

The legislation covering the election of members to the Academic Board can be found in University of Sydney (Academic Governance) Rule 2003

Student Members to Faculties

One year term of office: 1 January 2010 - 31 December 2010

Academic Staff Members from Faculties

Two year term of office: 1 January 2010 - 31 December 2011

  • Notice of election displayed: 19 October 2009
  • Close of nominations: 3 November 2009 (by 4:00 p.m.)
  • Electoral Roll run: 3 November 2009
  • Ballot papers issued: 17 November 2009
  • Electoral Roll available for inspection: 17 November 2009
  • Votes due: 1 December 2009 (by 4:00 p.m.)
  • Polling day: 2 December 2009
  • Term of office begins: 1 January 2010
