Short biography

I was born in La Paz Bolivia, the highest capital city in the world. I moved with my family to Malmö Sweden when I was 10 and two years later my mother, younger brother and I migrated to sunny Sydney Australia.

I have lived in the inner-city of Sydney since. I went to Glebe High School down by the water in Blackwattle Bay. When I finished I took a couple of years off to try my hand at various occupations and to travel.

On my return, I enrolled to study agricultural science at the University of Sydney, where I became interested and involved in doing research in soil science and precision agriculture. If you are interested, take a look at my CV to see what I have been doing.

I ride a Yamaha SR500, a single cylinder 'thumper' (photo1; photot2). I like taking and developing b/w photographs. I like strumming my guitar. I like playing soccer. I am a PADI certified SCUBA diver. I have dived in Vanuatu and the Solomons Islands, Mauritius, Tasmania and various locations in New South Wales. I enjoy travelling, I like reading, seeing films and listening to music and I also enjoy good food, wine and beer. I am married to Tristan and have two sons Armando and Carlos. Armando was born on 4 October 2000, just after the Sydney Olympic Games and Carlos on the 22 November 2004.

The following pages will give some insight into what I do. I hope that you find them interesting and maybe even useful.

Take care.

Peace.
