The University of Sydney Hong Kong Alumni Association was formally established on 25 September 1989. Professor John Wong (BScMed ’64, PhD ’72, MD ’95) was instrumental in the foundation of the Association. Since its inception the Association has held a number of successful social and networking events, building a strong alumni community in Hong Kong.

All alumni who reside in Hong Kong are automatically members of the Hong Kong Alumni Association: if your address details have changed since graduation, please let us know and stay connected to the Association and your local alumni community.

At present, the Association includes an active alumni group headed by Kenneth Cheung (BCom ’98, MCom ’00). Its major aim is to further strengthen the alumni network in Hong Kong by providing programs that enrich graduates’ social and professional experience and help them reconnect with the University.
