Records Management Services (RMS) create and manage student, staff and administrative files in hardcopy and electronic formats. Access is provided through Records Online. You must become a registered user to access the system.

Records Online is the tool used to search for, create and use files electronically. Paper records can be converted to electronic documents and added to files so they can be accessed through Records Online. Ring ARMS for more advice.

RMS provide advice on all recordkeeping matters at no charge to all units of the University. This includes advice on naming conventions for records using the University business classification scheme and about the retention and disposal of locally held records.

RMS receive and process subpoenas.

RMS maintain the register of the use of the University seal. However, all such enquiries should be directed to the Office of the Registrar.

Training is also provided in all recordkeeping activities. This includes sessions on using online recordkeeping tools, recordkeeping awareness or any other aspect of recordkeeping in which you require training.
