University Seal

Section 35 of the University of Sydney Act states:
“The seal of the University is to be kept in such custody as the Senate may direct and is only to be affixed to a document pursuant to a resolution of the Senate.”

The register of the use of the seal is maintained by Records Management Services. Enquiries regarding the affixing of the seal should be directed to the Office of the Registrar, who approves the use of the seal on all documents.
