Buildings and construction
The University holds an annual controlled contract works and third party liability insurance policy, which covers The University of Sydney and any affiliated body and any subsidiary company.

The works (material damage to the construction works) is limited to $25 million - contractors over this amount will require separate project specific CW and TPL insurance prior to commencement.
Third party liability is limited to $20 million to any one occurence.

Campus Infrastructure Services may elect to use this policy when negotiating contract agreements with contractors. This policy enables a lower cost to be obtained on the contract and certainty that appropriate insurance cover is effected.
