Professional Development
Some units of study in the Bioethics Program can be taken as Professional Development courses. These are:
- BETH 5202 Human and Animal Research Ethics
- BETH 5203 Ethics and Public Health
- BETH 5202 Ethics and Mental Health
- BETH 5204 Clinical Ethics
Students enrolled as Professional Development students are required to attend an intensive or the seminars, depending on the format of the unit of study. They are provided with a reader, and have access to electronic resources. They are not required to complete assessment and do not receive an academic transcript. Certification of completion is provided.
Note that it is also possible to enroll in any of the above units of study as a NON-AWARD student. This allows you to complete a single unit of study without being enrolled in a degree course. All applicants are encouraged to consider whether non-award enrollment or full enrollment in a degree course better suits their professional needs.
