University of Sydney Calendar online

Welcome to the website of the 2008 University of Sydney Calendar.

The annual University of Sydney Calendar is the University of Sydney's central source of official information.

The Calendar provides general and historical information about the University of Sydney, the statutes, regulations and resolutions under which it operates and the Senate resolutions relating to constitutions of each faculty. The statutes and regulations, as well as some Senate resolutions, also appear in Policy online.

The Senate resolutions relating to courses in each faculty no longer appear in the Calendar - they now appear in the faculty's handbook together with the faculty's resolutions for each course.

Along with the University of Sydney faculty handbooks, the Calendar forms the official legal source of information relating to study at the University of Sydney.

The 2008 Calendar comprises the following sections:
