Mid-Year Enrolments 2009

Mid-Year enrolment for 2009 is now closed.
If you have not received your 2009 student card please call or visit the Card Centre.


Remote/Distance Students

If you are not attending campus to enrol or to study and you reside outside the Sydney metropolitan area, you can apply for a Student Card by completing the Off-Campus Student Card Application Form.

You will need to attach to the form:

  • An endorsed passport sized photo
  • A certified copy of your passport or driver’s licence or NSW photo card.

Certification can be done by:

  • your faculty administrator,
  • your course co-ordinator,
  • a Justice of the Peace,
  • or Notary Public

Send all requested documentation to:

Or alternatively, you can arrange with your faculty to endorse the form and photo and send on your behalf. Student Cards will not be sent if the application is incomplete.

Offshore Students

If you are studying offshore (overseas), you will need to complete the Off-Campus Student Card Application to obtain your Student Card. Forms can be provided by your Faculty Administrator when you enrol or can be downloaded from this site.

You will need to attach to the form:

  • An endorsed passport sized photo
  • A certified copy of your passport or driver’s licence or NSW photo card.

Certification can be done by:

I've varied my enrolment. What do I do?

You do not need to obtain a new Student Card if you have either varied your enrolment or transferred to a different course.

If you are a domestic student and your attendance has increased to full-time or if you are now a permanent resident of Australia and studying full-time, please visit the University Card Centre where you can apply for a travel concession.

You will need to bring:

  • Your existing Student Card
  • Photo identification (passport, driver’s licence or NSW photo card)

Travel Concession

You are advised to visit the Transport and Infrastructure website for any pass concession entitlement enquiries or concerns. The University Card Centre acts as an agent for the Department of Transport and Infrastructure and is required to follow the eligibility criteria set by them when issuing travel concession. If you are eligible to receive a travel concession on your 2009 Student Card, please visit the University Card Centre.

Replacement Student Cards and travel concessions

If your Student Card has been lost, stolen or you change your name you need to obtain a replacement card from the University Card Centre by completing the Replacement Student Card form, which is available from the University Card Centre, and providing photo identification (passport, driver’s licence or NSW photo card). The cost of replacing your Student Card is $20.

If you are eligible for a replacement travel concession, replacement travel concession forms are available at the University Card Centre. The form requires endorsement by the University Card Centre and $24 is payable to the Passes and Concession Office at the below address:

Damaged cards

If your card is damaged, you can have a new card issued by the University Card Centre on presentation of your old card. You will need to provide photo identification such as drivers licence or passport.

A fee of $20 may apply for replacement of a damaged card.
