STAFF PROFILES

Inta Heimanis
HEAD
Ms Inta Heimanis BA (Hons) Grad Dip Ed has worked in the public and tertiary education sectors for over twenty years, and has also worked in the private education sector. She has experience in workforce planning and research and the analysis of labour statistics. Her experience in tertiary education includes secretariat, faculty management, research management, project management and marketing and public relations.

Industry Development Manager
Suzy Andrew holds a BA, BSc and MA from the University of Sydney. She has over five years experience in student administration management and brings together her experiences as both a student and as a staff member of the University in her role as Industry Development Manager. Suzy is responsible for organising and marketing all campus careers fairs, employer presentations and visits to outlying campuses.

Alysha Bowman
Administration Officer (Industry Development)

First point of contact for employers. Manages employer information and provides administrative support for employer events.

Malcom Ross
Administration Officer (Casual Employment)

First point of contact for employers and students looking at casual and part-time employment opportunities that are not degree related.

Nitsa Athanassopoulos
Career Development Manager
Planning and development of education resources and training for students. Careers counselling and education for students.
Mrs Nitsa Athanassopoulos BA (Hons) has been working in the Careers Profession for eighteen years providing services in careers counselling, skills training and graduate recruitment. She has previously worked in a wide range of fields encompassing staff training, development and recruitment and health education. She is a psychologist and a member of the Australian Association of Careers Counsellors and the National Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services.

Barbara Mackie
Career Education Officer

Barbara Mackie has a Bachelor Education in Adult Education (HRD), Diploma in Project Management and a Graduate Diploma in Careers Education and Development and is a professional member of the Career Development Association of Australia and a member of the National Association of Graduate Career Advisory Services. Barbara has 8 years experience in Career Counselling within the university sector. She conducts individual career sessions, workshops and faculty lectures in career education and development. Barbara is also experienced in designing, developing and managing a range of career events for students and recent graduates and works closely with graduate employers on guest presentatons.
Barbara has a special interest in career management, assisting students to identify their skills, explore relevant career options and develop goals and action plans to develop their career. Barbara is an accredited practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Belbin Team Roles.
