2008 Academic Skills for Academic Success (Worldwide)
January - February 2008
Advanced Academic Skills for Success (ASAS) is an intensive course designed for Ausaid and Asian Development Bank scholars who have attained unconditional entry to the University of Sydney. Most course participants are enrolled in masters programs, either by coursework or by research. However, some undertake bachelor degrees and a few will be pursuing doctoral studies. The ASAS course provides an intensive orientation to the learning styles encountered at Australian tertiary institutions. It is assumed that students already have the ability to write essays and communicate competently in English.
