The Centre for English Teaching is an official Testing Centre for IELTS. It is part of a global network of more than 300 test locations in 120 countries that test over 700,000 IELTS candidates in a year.

What is IELTS?
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an international test of English language proficiency. It is available in over 250 centres worldwide. It is the preferred test for entry to Australian universities.
The test accurately indicates a person's ability in the four fundamental English skills:
- Listening - Test time: 30 minutes (approx.)
- Reading - Test time - Academic/General: 60 minutes (approx.)
- Writing - Test time - Academic/General: 60 minutes (approx.)
- Speaking - Test time: 15 minutes (approx.)
