Health cover
The Australian Government requires all holders of student visas to pay for health insurance in Australia through the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) Scheme. This scheme is administered by OSHC Worldcare. You are insured for basic medical and hospital cover.
You will be able to collect your Worldcare Assist health card from reception after you arrive at CET.

You should allow a minimum of AUD$16,000 to cover your living costs (outside tuition) for each year you study in Australia.
Since July 2000, Australia has had a 10% Goods and Service Tax (GST). The GST does not apply to your tuition fees.
Refund policy
- The administration fee is non-refundable.
- We refund your tuition and other fees if your visa application is rejected. You must notify the Centre for English Teaching in writing within 28 days of being rejected.
- If you cancel your course more than one month before the course commencement date, you will receive a refund of 100% of tuition fees paid.
- If you cancel your course less than one month before the commencement date, you will receive a refund of 80% of tuition fees paid.
- Once you commence your course, you will not be eligible for a refund. (We define a course as the number of weeks you pay for).
All refunds are sent to your home country.
