Our Services
Airport reception
We are able to arrange a coach to meet your tour at the airport and then bring them to the CET where they can meet up with their host family.
Accommodation Placement
- Homestay: Living in an English-speaking household provides an excellent opportunity to practise speaking English and experience the Australian 'family' way of life. Arrangements conducted through the centre's accommodation provider.
- On Campus: On Campus accommodation offers students and teachers the opportunity to immerse themselves in the University experience. Several options include The Women's College and Sydney University Village. (These rooms are subject to availability).
Recreational activities & Sporting facilities
Museums/Galleries, Sydney Harbour and Taronga Zoo are some of the recreational programs that we can co-ordinate for your tour. Please feel free to make any suggestions and we will do our best to fulfil your requests. Students may visit the University sporting facilities which include a heated Olympic swimming pool, three fully-equipped sporting complexes with rock climbing, gymnasiums, basketball and soccer.
Traditional 'Aussie' activities such as whip cracking, sheep shearing, boomerang throwing, Aboriginal dancing, drinking Billy Tea and eating damper are also popular and can be linked into your classroom lessons.
Self Learning Centre
Students will be issued with a CET Library Card, which will allow them to use our wide collection of books, magazines and listening materials in their free time. Computing facilities, including internet access, are also available free of charge for students.
Graduation & Certificate Presentation
A graduation event is arranged at the completion of each study tour. Participants receive a certificate and an individual student progress report. We can plan for the assessment to meet the specific requirements of your institution or organisation.
