Mandelbaum House caters for thirty students in single private rooms that are all furnished as study bedrooms.

Dining room
Our sunny communal dining room is where you will not only indulge in 18 delicious meals each week, but is also where you will spend time quality with your fellow residents. Daily newspapers and magazines are provided.

 


Games room
Relax on a leather couch, play pool or a board game, watch a DVD or cable TV, listen to music, grab a snack or drink from the vending machine or read a book from our non-fiction collection! Our games room has it all, even a balcony with BBQ!


Lounge area
This bright room includes a piano, ping pong table, television and comfortable couches and chairs.       It can also be set up as a seminar room for discussions and formal presentations.

Library
Ample light streaming in this two storeyed room provides students great study space. A PC and printer is also available for residents. The library boasts a large collection of Judaic books and a range of magazines and newspapers.

Bathroom and Showers
Groups of three to four student rooms share a bathroom facility which consists of two private showers, two toilets and basins. All student rooms include private basin too.


Alcove
A shared common sitting room with tea/coffee making facilities, electric kettle, microwave, fridge and balcony is located on each floor for your convenience.

Roof top
Our roof top provides great city skyline views and a sunny place to hang up your washing!

Laundry
The College contains a laundry with coin-operated washing and drying machines. Ironing facilities are also available.

Car park
There are a limited number of car parking spaces within the building. Applications for a space should be made in advance to the Chief Executive Officer.



Communication
In addition to a telephone and internet outlet in each bedroom, there is a public telephone located in the dining room and computer and printing access in the library. We offer a fax and photocopying service in the office during office hours.

We have two styles of accommodation. Our four suite apartments are ideal for families, couples or friends travelling or studying in Sydney and our 30 single rooms are ideal for the budget traveller including students, backpackers and Summer School students at the University of Sydney. Discounts apply to Mandelbaum House residents, University of Sydney and Summer School students.
