Director, Social Inclusion
Annette Cairnduff
Annette has been working on equity programs at the University of Sydney for the last three years. She is particularly interested how engagement during the primary school years can impact the expectations of children for higher education access and participation, as well as the expectations of their parents and teachers.

Senior Project Officer
Kanina Mackay
Kanina brings nearly a decade of experience from the education sector to her new role. Having worked with secondary and university students for a number of years, Kanina is excited by the possibilities of working with primary school children for the first time. As the first in her family to have attended university, Kanina is particularly committed to the success of this project.

Senior Project Officer
Miriam Pellicano
Miriam is the project manager for the schools in the Marrickville area. She has a background in community development and has most recently been involved in a social inclusion program in the Jerash refugee camp in Jordan, focusing on education opportunities for youth. She is excited about the opportunities and innovative initiatives already being generated by the Compass schools and the collaboration between University faculties.

Project Support Officer
Caroline O'Neill
Caroline is the Project Support Officer with the Social Inclusion Unit. Caroline has worked in Government and non-government organisations for a number of years. Caroline is currently studying a for a master’s degree in social development and looks forward to using these skills to support Miriam, Kanina and all schools involved in the project. Caroline is excited to be hosting the Compass website and engaging with the school students about their experiences through the site.
Administration Assistant
Abigail Clarkson
Abigail has most recently been working in the area of early childhood services.She has a passion for encouraging and supporting young people with their life choices and this is what drew her to the team at Compass. She looks forward to the challenges this role will bring.
