Course Description: This course is designed for people who would like to acquire basic Chinese language skills to enter the Chinese business world. Chinese for Business focuses on practical commercial communications needed in a business environment. After completing the class, you will find it is easy to make Chinese friends and you will be more welcome when you are in any events with your Chinese partners.
Topics Covered:
- Introducing and greeting people formally
- Chinese companies’ management structure
- Pinyin romanization
- Building a relationship with your Chinese partners
- Scheduling a meeting
- Arranging a banquet and inviting guests
- Chinese numeral system, weights and measures
- Basic bargaining and negotiating
Pre-Requisites: Some basic Chinese knowledge required.
Texts: Text book and materials are covered in the Tuition Fee.
Fee: $360.00
Certificate: Evaluation is provided at the end of course. Certificates are awarded to those students who have satisfactorily completed at least 75% of the course and achieved the course requirements.
