Time and Date: Saturday, 15 August. 2:00pm - 4:00pm. 16 hours 8 lessons
Location: Education Graphics Room 625, Education building, Camperdown Campus, The University of Sydney
Course Description: This course contains three terms and is designed to introduce people to the fundamentals of Chinese painting. It is designed for beginners to learn how to use traditional Chinese brush painting techniques to paint a range of popular subjects including water lily, bamboo, wild orchids, plum blossoms, peonies, swallows, pandas and Chinese landscapes.
Pre-Requisites: No prior knowledge of Chinese painting required.
Texts: The cost of the Text book is not included in the Tuition Fee.
Fee: $280.00 for 8 weeks.
Certificate: Evaluation is provided at the end of course. Certificates are awarded to those students who have satisfactorily completed at least 75% of the course and achieved the course requirements.
