Alumni Council. The University of Sydney Alumni Council is the University's peak
alumni body. Convocation consists of the graduates, Fellows of Senate and
permanent members of the academic staff of the University. Sydney University has
more than 220,000 alumni. The University of Sydney Alumni Council represents all
graduates of the University of Sydney. This website provides information
about the Alumni Council, its role and its activities.
The mission of the University of
Sydney Alumni Council, as the peak alumni body of the University, is to play a
central role in building a life-long partnership between the University and its
alumni, commencing as undergraduates, that seeks to reach, engage and represent
them in the life and work of the University.
