It is possible to combine the Information Technology degree with a degree in Commerce. Many students take up the opportunity to add a second degree and double their qualifications in just one extra year.
This combined degrees is designed to extend the management component of the Bachelor of Information Technology and further satisfy the increasing demand for IT professionals with business skills, and demonstrates our commitment to meeting the changing needs of industry.
You can combine any IT major - information systems or computer science - with a Bachelor of Commerce. The combined program allows for one major and one minor in any area of commerce. Some units are compulsory, including the introductory commerce courses in accounting, economics and econometrics.
