The Graduate Certificate of Health Sciences provides graduates with the opportunity to extend their undergraduate education by providing them with flexible pathways (majors) for professional development. The opportunity for choice of units of study provides students with flexibility and enables them to select subjects relevant to their professional development needs, thus equipping students with the knowledge, understanding and expertise to work within the contemporary health care sector.

Students can undertake generalist studies within the Graduate Certificate or can specialise in one of the following majors:
·  Occupational Therapy
·  Orthoptics
·  Speech Pathology

Strict application closing dates for Semester 1, 2010
Please note that the closing date for domestic student applications for Semester 1 2010 will be 30 October 2009. Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted.

Students wishing to apply in the Gerontology, Indigenous Health, Orthoptics and Speech Pathology majors only should consider applying for the Graduate Certificate of Health Sciences generic degree.  A significant feature of this degree is its flexibility. It allows health care professionals to design an entire program that meets individual professional interests and learning needs.
