The course aims to provide advanced study in the broad discipline of exercise and sport science.

The graduate diploma is designed to provide an opportunity for advanced study in exercise and sport science with a focus on the areas of applied physiology, human mechanics and motor learning. It is anticipated that this study will be an extension of the student's prior training and professional role. Students who successfully complete the graduate diploma can articulate to the master's courses in sports performance or clinical exercise science.

Course completion requirements
36 credit points: students are to complete as required the core, elective and general elective units of study shown in the Table of units of study for the award as set out in the Faculty of Health Sciences handbook.
