The graduate diploma allows students to obtain a core competency base, and to develop more advanced skills in areas of particular interest.

It has been designed from the viewpoint that sexual health is an essential part of holistic health and wellbeing. Sexual health is addressed from the perspectives of preventative and acute care, as well as rehabilitation. Units of study completed in the graduate diploma can be credited to the master's degree. Equivalent units of study completed in other tertiary programs may be credited towards the diploma.

Please note that the closing date for domestic student applications for Semester 1 2010 will be 30 October 2009. Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted.

Course completion requirements

36 credit points: students are to complete as required the core, elective and general elective units of study shown in the Table of units of study for the award as set out in the Faculty of Health Sciences handbook.
