This program is designed to provide health professionals with knowledge and skills in the management of clinical data used in clinical trials and other projects.

It offers advanced study in the design and management of clinical trials and other related projects. The program provides participants with skills in designing systems that collect, combine, critically appraise, and quantitatively evaluate information in order to facilitate evidence based decisions regarding treatment and/or health policy.
The flexible delivery modes, including distance education, workshops and block teaching, make the program suitable for those working in full or part-time employment.
Information for international students
This course does not meet the CRICOS requirements for obtaining an Australian student visa, however, international students can complete the course through a combination of online and distance modules from their home country. Students may be able to apply for a visitors permit to complete optional units that require on-campus block sessions. Please contact the International Office for further information.

Please note that the closing date for domestic student applications for Semester 1 2010 will be 30 October 2009. Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted.
Course completion requirements
48 credit points: students are to complete as required the core, elective and general elective units of study shown in the Table of units of study for the award as set out in the Faculty of Health Sciences handbook.
