Digital and Print Media manages the look and feel (the design) of the University's web presence.

This involves the design of the University's home page and corporate website, faculty and unit websites, web functionalities such as Courses Online and Research Supervisor Connect, as well as promotional material, for example promotional banners and splash pods.

Policy and templates

The University's web design policy is maintained by DPM in conjunction with key stakeholders around the University.

It consists of centrally authorised cascading style sheets and content management system XHTML templates, and is exemplified by the look and feel of the University's corporate website and the new design that has been applied to a wide range of University websites, including:

Design policy is influenced by the ongoing brand project, and we anticipate that strong design guidelines will be in place in 2009.
