The University of Sydney Women's Group

The University of Sydney Women's Group is currently trying to increase its membership.

We are a group of women representing the wider University community. We meet at lunchtime at Women's College. The group has been established for over 50 years making us the oldest University women's group in Australia. Our speakers are often recruited from within the University. We also go on excursions to galleries, museums, libraries and other University colleges.

Our group is not a fundraising group and our annual membership is $20.

Our programme for 2009 is as follows:

• Wednesday 18 March 12 noon
  Annual General Meeting and lunch at the Women's College.
  Guest speaker: Dr Jane Williamson, Principal of the Women's College.
  Dr Williamson will talk to us about the history of the college and her vision for its future.
