Requesting access to a specific eLearning site
Authority for access to currently running UoS sites must come from the UoS site coordinators. Alternatively you can request access from either the HOD or your Faculty Dean if previous site coordinators have been unavailable or have left the university.
If you need tutor or co-designer access, you can ask the primary site designer or coordinator to give you access to the UoS site. They can do this through the SEAMS interface by clicking on 'non-cohort' enrollments, and entering your unikey and the access 'role' you will have in the site.
Alternatively you can request access to a specific eLearning site, for yourself or for another staff member, by emailing a request to the .
In your email you may to need to include permission from the UoS coordinator, and include them in the email request. You will need to include the following:
- Full name of the person who will need access
- UniKey (contract staff members will have a unikey as issued by ICT; casual staff can request a unikey from their faculty manager or by contacting ICT)
- UoS code, and title of the site they need to access. eg: BIOL1234 - Introduction to Biology)
- Semester and Year (eg: Semester 2, 2008) of the UoS site. Full details can be referenced from the Online Handbook

Failing to include any of these details may delay your request.
