Sydney eLearning and the Institute of Teaching and Learning (ITL)
As eLearning is now an integral part of the teaching and learning experience at the University of Sydney, it is informed by the same scholarly principles and practices that underpin all quality teaching and learning. Sydney eLearning is working with the Institute for Teaching and Learning (ITL) to provide all staff with an opportunity to integrate sound teaching and learning principles and practice with e-learning development. Four times a year, the ITL offers a 2-day program which complements the eLearning workshops. The program addresses how best to facilitate learning, as well as how to enhance understanding, and provides teaching staff with some practical teaching skills. It looks at practical models and methods that can be used to enhance student learning in a variety of contexts, and how to integrate all elements of good curriculum design.
