Missing or extra eLearning sites?
Below you'll find answer to the following queries:
-There's a unit of study missing from my list of eLearning sites
-I can login ok, but I can't see any eLearning sites
-I can see eLearning sites for units of study that I am not enrolled in
This section assumes that you can log in to USYD eLearning, but don't see the list of eLearning sites that you expect. If you can't log in, that is, if you don't see a "My eLearning Sites" page such as the one shown below, you should start by looking at our page on Login trouble.

- Not every unit of study at Sydney University has an eLearning site, and not every eLearning site is available to students from the first day of semester.
- So, the first thing to do is to double check with your lecturer or unit coordinator
- that your unit of study has an eLearning site, and
- when that eLearning site will be accessible to students.
NB: Units of study in the Faculty of Business and Economics are offered via a different system, called Blackboard. For inquiries about Blackboard sites, contact .
- If you are looking for your eLearning sites before semester starts, check back in the first week, because most eLearning sites aren't available until first week of semester.
- If the semester has already started, note that not every unit of study has a My eLearning site and not every My eLearning site is available at the very start of semester. So, the first thing to do is to double check with your lecturer or unit co-ordinator
- that your unit of study has an eLearning site, and
- when that eLearning site will be accessible to students.

- If you can see eLearning sites for units of study that you’re not enrolled in, this may be either because you have recently withdrawn from that unit of study or because you were enrolled in the unit of study last semester.
- You have recently withdrawn from a subject
When you try to access the eLearning site you will almost certainly find that you are denied access. This eLearning site should disappear within a few days. - You were previously enrolled in that unit of study last semester
Sometimes your lecturer allows students to access their eLearning site(s) for an extended period. This may be so that you can revise your first semester materials in second semester or because other students in your class need to sit a supplementary exam or have asked for special consideration.
