Pop-up blockers
Pop-up blocking software is designed to block those annoying pop-up ads when you are using the internet. Unfortunately, some pop-up blocking software will also treat new windows and tabs in our eLearning software as pop-up ads, and stops them from opening.
Check if you have any of the software listed in the table below installed on your computer. Then follow the instructions in Solutions to disable the pop-up blocking feature.
Alternatively you can add the URL of both The University of Sydney, and our elearning sites to your browsers 'allowed' or trusted site list. This means that it will not block pop-ups from the university. See the solutions table for more information.
