Profile: Law lecturer Thalia Anthony
Law lecturer Thalia Anthony was a student at Burwood Girls High School when To Kill A Mockingbird first instilled in her a passion for social justice. This enthusiasm motivated her through eight years of studying at Sydney University and into a career that helps her shape the young minds of the future.

When it came to submitting his UAC preferences in year 12, Vishal Sood found himself in the same position as many others in their final year of high school - he didn’t know what he wanted to study. He chose Law and has never looked back.

Applying to Uni

Flexible entry
The University of Sydney’s flexible entry scheme gives school leavers who have just missed out on a place in their chosen course a second chance to prove themselves. Under the scheme the University looks at beyond the UAI to other criteria that might be an indication that an applicant will succeed in a course.
