Preparation for undergraduate study at the University of Sydney

Australia's first University offers its Foundation Program as a preparation for undergraduate degrees at The University of Sydney.

The Foundation Program is conducted by Taylors Institute of Advanced Studies Ltd on behalf of Study Group Australia and the University of Sydney. The Foundation Program allows both first and second semester entry to undergraduate courses at the University of Sydney and other universities within Australia.

The University of Sydney Foundation Program has established a record of successful university entry with over 80% of students gaining entry into undergraduate courses at the University of Sydney and other Australian institutions.

The University of Sydney Foundation Program is located at Taylors College in Bourke Street, Waterloo. The location is approximately 10 minutes' ride from the University of Sydney and a five minute walk from Green Square Railway Station, on the new fast rail link between the Airport and the city business centre. The new, five storey college was custom-built and includes a fully supervised student hostel, housing 125 students, on the top floor.

The modern and fully equipped teaching facilities include science laboratories, computer rooms and areas for music, art and graphic design. The college also has a fully equipped student library, student common room and health centre with a multi bed sick bay. The student hostel contains bedrooms, recreation facilities, laundry, showers, toilets and kitchenette.
