Guide to making a Study Abroad or Student Exchange application
Please read this guide before filling in the application form, and make sure you meet the eligibility requirements.
If you are an Australian citizen, permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand citizen, you must NOT use this form unless you have been selected by your home university as an exchange student.
This application is not an enrolment form. It does not guarantee that you will be admitted to the Study Abroad and Student Exchange Programs. Admission to the University of Sydney is very competitive. Together with other applicants, you will be considered for a place.
Your Student Exchange application must be accompanied by an official letter of nomination from your home institution. You will not be accepted under the Exchange Program unless your home institution has a current Exchange Agreement with the University of Sydney. Check our exchange partners to see if your home institution is listed.

Disability information
If you have a disability you could be eligible for services offered by the University of Sydney for students with a disability. If you want this assistance, it is important that you apply for it as soon as you can, preferably before you commence study. Disability Services available in Australia may differ from those offered in your home country, so it is important for us to know what support services you require and to inform you of the support services we can offer. A Disability Services Officer can help you with your registration. Please contact the Disability Services at www.usyd.edu.au/disability.
