Entry requirements for domestic applicants
When you apply for admission, your application is considered on the basis of your results in your academic qualifications.
You may find information about the application procedure and general information about our entry requirements useful.
The following links will take you to information which is specific to your academic background:
- Year 12 applicants
- Applicants who have already studied at university, TAFE or a private provider
- Applicants with overseas qualifications
Some courses also have additional selection criteria, such as an interview, entry test, or an audition.
There are a number of special entry schemes which might assist you in gaining entry into the University’s courses. These schemes include the Mature-Age Entry Scheme, the Broadway Scheme, and the Elite Athletes and Performers Scheme.
Please note that if you will be applying as an international fee-paying student (ie, you are not a citizen of Australia, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a citizen of New Zealand), you should contact the International Office for information about the application process and entry requirements.
