Our next concert - Franz Joseph Haydn and an Age of Anxiety

The programme for the May 10 Concert will comprise two of Haydn's better-known Masses, the "Nelson" also called the "Mass for Anguished Times", (Missa in angustiis, 1798) and the "Little Organ Mass" (1775). There's also a delightful overture or 'Sinfonia' for orchestra from one of his operas, L'infedeltà delusa (1773).

You can also purchase tickets by phoning MCA Ticketing on 9645-1611 between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm Monday to Friday.

Tickets are $27 each plus a booking fee of $1.35 incl GST.

On the day of the concert ( Saturday, 10 May 2003), tickets will need to purchased at the box office at the Great Hall, University of Sydney.

Performers.

Conductor is Chrisopher Bowen, principal roles will be taken by Amanda Moxham (soprano), Virginia Stack (alto), Robert Boyd (tenor) and David Woloszko (bass). The solo organist will be Amy Johansen. [Further information available Wednesday April 9 ]
