What are the Calendar Archives?
The University of Sydney Calendars are the official site for general and historical information about the University of Sydney.
As of Monday, November 1, 2007, the entire contents of the Archives became available online, able to be accessed by students, historians, academics, staff, family researchers, alumni and the general public.
Previously the Calendars has restricted physical access; and could only be accessed by personally visiting the Archives Reading Room and Repository on Level 9 of Fisher Library, and only with an appointment with a Reference Archivist. Other copies of the Calendars are kept at the State Library, the National Archives and the Parliamentary Library.
Now all this information can be accessed in one centralised, online repository, which can be accessed at http://usyd.edu.au/calendar.
