Every year ICT undertakes a wide range of initiatives, many of which represent the use of the latest technologies. To this end, ICT is committed to being a leader in the area of innovation.

The Calendar Archive is the official site for general and historical information about the University of Sydney. It allows the archives to be available online and accessible by students, staff, alumnis and the general public. The previous calendars had restricted physical access at the Fisher Library and only accessible through an appointment with a Reference Archivist.

The Application Services Group initiative is a collaboration of the business and ICT to create a more effective and resource-efficient process that will focus on providing client-focused solutions. The new Application Services gorup will be divided into sections according to the goals of the University of Sydney.

In co-operation with the Community Portfolio and Financial Shared Services, the ICT has established the conference support in providing faculties, schools and business units with a range of conference support services such as the provision of online registration electronic payment.

The CIO Blog is an initiative to inform people about the new and exciting events that are happening as well future initiatives that ICT will embark upon. The blog will also provide current news and events related to the ICT.
