Heath Cooper

Heath joined ICT in September 2007 and heads up the Agile Solutions Team. The team is dedicated to providing the resources required to support the University’s software development and training requirements. He is also responsible for managing the ICT Intern Program.
Heath has worked in Europe and North America and has over 25 years experience spanning the IT, Communications and Media sectors. He was also Chief Researcher of Communications at the Research Institute for Asia and the Pacific (RIAP), specialising in the Thredbo Landslide Disaster.
As a graduate of the University of Sydney, Heath holds a Master in Public Affairs as well as post graduate qualifications in Linguistics, Theology and Organisational Communication. His research interests include Agile development and emergency communication.
An award winning journalist and writer, Heath is also an accomplished documentary maker and producer.
In 2009, Heath hopes to further develop the Agile Solutions Team to use the latest methodologies and technologies.
Heath is a keen photographer, loves theatre and can cook up a storm. He cares for a cute tabby cat and enjoys swimming. Korean is his favourite food and all things Asian are close to his heart.
