Director, Service Management

Mark Pigot is the Director of ICT Service Management, a division within ICT that provides a range of IT infrastructure services (servers, storage, desktop, email, internet, data & voice communications, audiovisual etc) and end user services (help desk, access labs, field services etc), and IT management functions (Disaster Recovery, IT Security, Change Management, Incident Management, etc).
The key objective is to deliver a reliable, cost effective and well-managed range of technology infrastructure and supporting services, both to ICT Solution Services to build and deliver integrated IT solutions, and directly to the University’s staff and students.
With over 24 years of experience in the IT industry, Mark has had a range of roles in organisations like AMP, Reckitt & Colman, EDS, and the Commonwealth Bank. He is experienced in strategic and operational IT management, in both local and global contexts, and in a wide variety of technologies. Mark is a proven specialist in IT Risk Management & Governance as well as in IT Infrastructure Management in both inhouse and multi-sourced environments.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from the University of Sydney, and a Certified Information Security Manager accreditation from ISACA.
