Director, ICT Service Management
Mark Pigot has joined ICT as the new Director, ICT Service Management, making him responsible for all IT infrastructure and client services for the University community.
With over 24 years experience in commercial information technology, Mark has performed IT infrastructure and application development roles in several leading companies, including AMP, Reckitt and Colman, EDS and Commonwealth Bank.
Prior to his appointment at the University of Sydney, his most recent role at AMP was in IT risk management and security; other roles included program management, application management, outsourcing management, technical services, client services, strategic planning and organisational change management.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) degree from the University of Sydney, and has recently obtained Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) accreditation with the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, ISACA.
As a senior IT management professional, Mark brings a breadth of IT experience to the University, having worked in many organisational models, both locally and globally, with different approaches to IT delivery.
