AV Audio Visual
Camtasia Ad hoc lecture recording and streaming tool with the Desktop and Mic Recorder. It is a screen capture and on-line delivery tool.
Firewall A device or set of devices configured to permit, deny all computer traffic between different security domains based upon a set of rules and other criteria.
ICT Information & Communications Technology
LAN Local Area Network (LAN) is a group of computers and associated devices that share a common communications line and typically share the resources of a single processor or server within a small geographic area such as campus.
Lectopia Lecture recording and streaming tool that automatically streamed the lecture into University's student learning system. 
PDA Personal Digital Assistant.  General term for small handheld device commonly used as a mobile computer or organizer for personal information.  It generally includes a name and address database, to-do list, note taker, web browser and other information management capabilities.
Response Time The measure of time taken to start incident diagnosis or initiate actions to complete request. e.g. reply to a request or fault, by contacting the customer.
Second Level Support A team or group other than the Helpdesk that specializes in a specific ICT support area.
Service Request A request from a user for information or advice, or for the addition, modification or removal of an IT component, or for access to an IT service.
Specialist Support Hours The times or hours when second level support is available to users for a specific service described in the Service Catalogue.
TurningPoint It is an audience response kit used to enhance presentation by engaging students and promoting activities. It works within PowerPoint by making interactive slides for question and answer, feedback etc.
