Jessica Carroll

Director of International House,
The University of Sydney

Born and educated in Dublin, Ireland, Jessica migrated to Australia in 1988. Before her appointment as Director of International House in June 2002, Jessica was Personnel Manager for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at The University of Sydney. Jessica experienced College life during her resident appointment of two years as Assistant Director of International House. Her experience is mainly in the field of human resource management but she also has experience in psychological research. Jessica holds a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology from The University of Sydney; is registered to practice psychology in NSW and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Jessica's personal interests include sports, travel and movies. She played national league basketball in Ireland for many years and state league basketball in Sydney. Jessica was appointed as Secretary of the Association of Heads of Australian University Colleges and Halls Inc. (AHAUCHI) from October 2003 to June 2005. Jessica is married to Phillip Milton, a mathematics teacher at Kambala High School and they have a daughter named Hannah and a young son named Andrew.
