Acceptance Closing Dates
Economics and Business - March 2010 Semester
In general, ALL applicants who receive a Firm Offer of Admission to a course offered by the Faculty of Economics and Business must accept their offer, including submission of their deposit payment, by close of business on the initial payment due date specified on their letter of offer. Offers that have not been accepted by this date will be lapsed.
However, the Faculty of Economics and Business may, when a course becomes over-subscribed publish an early closing date for acceptances. In this case, students who have submitted applications for a course offered by the Faculty of Economics and Business must finalise their applications, receive a Firm Offer of Admission and accept their offer (including submission of their deposit payment) by close of business on the published closing date. Notification of the early closing dates will be provided to agents and students.
Package offers and early closing dates
Where applicants hold completed English Package or completed University of Sydney Foundation Program (USFP) package program offers for a course that has an early closing date, these offers will be honoured and students will be exempt from the early closing date. Completed package offers are those for which students have accepted and paid their deposit payment and been issued with an eCoE for both the English or USFP course and the nominated course in the Faculty of Economics and Business.

Certification and Verification of Documents
Revised requirements for the submission of academic documentation in support of applications from students holding degrees from universities in the Peoples Republic of China for admission to Postgraduate Coursework and Research programs have been introduced.
This requirement will apply to all applications for all Faculties for admission from the Semester 2 (July) 2010 intake onwards.
We understand that, at certain times each year, it may take some time for documents to be verified and received by the University. To allow for this, we will continue to accept and process applications supported by certified copies of academic documents in their current form. However, these applications will not be finalised and Firm Offers will not be issued until the documents verified by the CDGDC have been received.
