Our objectives
Investment management
To invest the University's funds in a prudent and efficient manner so as to maximise financial returns within an acceptable risk tolerance spectrum. We:
- develop investment strategies and financial risk management policies under the governance of the Investments and Commercialisation Committee (ICC)
- oversee management of the University’s short-term, long-term funds and Foundation funds, in line with University investment policies and strategies to achieve superior investment performance
- perform treasury operations, such as cash flow management, oversight of foreign exchange purchases, and asset / liability management
- assess investment opportunities
- advise internal clients on investment strategy
