Who We Are
iTEV was established in late 2001 as a strategic initiative of the Vice-Chancellor. Its mandate is to support academics and other staff members who are working on the innovative development and delivery of ICT-enabled learning at the Postgraduate level.
The iTEV strategy is founded on enhancing the core values that give The University its position of strength. A position built on the foundations of a rich campus experience, international recognition, research excellence, diversity and reputation.
Part of iTEVs role is to bring together internal and external resources that can support this kind of development. By forming partnerships with Colleges, Faculties and Departments iTEV is able to connect academic staff with resources, provide advice and shared investment to make the process of developing innovative flexible learning easier, more efficient and more effective.
iTEV has three permanent staff members (Manager, Executive Officer and a Senior Project Officer) and engages expert consultants as required, from both within The University and externally.
