Services - Our Engagement With You
iTEV offers services that are specific to the building and on-going support of technology-assisted or "for profit" programs with a concentration on post-graduate course-work programs at The University.
iTEV may provide direct funding so the Faculty can provide academic and administrative resources to the learning program, or for some other purpose. Generally, though, the preferred model for iTEV support will be via the provision of services rather than direct funding
Stages of Engagment
The iTEV model of engagement with clients is comprised of 5 stages:
At each different stage iTEV may provide a range of services. These services may come from either in-house expertise, involve the expertise of a contractor, or, most commonly, a combination of both.
SCOPE
In this preliminary stage, iTEV creates a report document that roughly outlines the opportunities, market-place, requirements, structures, implications, etc for the proposed program. This is iTEV’s first investment in any potential project and provides our client with an informed qualitative look at a proposed project so that they can decide whether or not to take the next step.
CASE DEVELOPMENT
If our client decides to invest further in their proposed project and there is agreement from the Steering Committee that the project meets University-wide goals a complete business plan is developed at this stage. This business plan will give a full evaluation of costs and benefits as well as providing a quantitative analysis of elements briefly described in the original scoping document. The case development will also define the business relationship between iTEV and the client and a draft agreement will be formed
EXECUTION
As well as financial support iTEV will also offer collaborative support with the nuts and bolts of the programs development. At this stage the program is conceptualized, developed and tested.
LAUNCH
The program is made available for use.
MATURITY
After the launch iTEV’s role in the project is nominally complete. The maturity of the program is overseen by the Faculty although iTEV may provide further services at the request of the client such as additional marketing. iTEV will, however, continue to monitor the program to ensure their return.
