Learning and Teaching Grants
A range of learning and teaching grants are offered through the national Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC), formerly the Carrick Institute for Teaching and Learning.
PLEASE NOTE: All grant applications must be endorsed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) via the Learning and Teaching Office before being sent to the ALTC. Applicants must ensure that they contact the Learning and Teaching Office at least two weeks prior to the ALTC due date (see Calendar).
Australian Learning and Teaching Council
The Australian Learning and Teaching Council was established to promote and advance learning and teaching in Australian higher education.
Two of its initiatives are the Promoting Excellence Initiative and the Grants Scheme.
The Promoting Excellence Initiative provides one-off funding to build and strengthen the capacity of institutions and individuals to respond to the programmes of the Carrick Institute.
The initiative is designed to strengthen the quality of applications and nominations under the various programmes, to assist institutions to use the programmes to support their own priorities in ways that promote quality and diversity, and to maximise the opportunities for effective dissemination and adoption of innovation and good practice.
For further information about the Promoting Excellence Initiative please see the ALTC's website.
