Changing your lab procedure into a report : Part 2

A lab procedure gives you a step-by-step method for carrying out your experiment. Often it is a detailed list of instructions for making up materials (solutions etc.) and what to do with these materials. When you are writing up your report, you need to change the lab procedure into a report or recount of your procedure, i.e. the experiment as you did it. This means you have to change the list of instructions into a concise description of what you did, leaving out details about equipment and standard procedures.
