Reference List

The reference list is the last section of the report. It is standard academic practice to provide the publication details of all the references mentioned (cited) in the report at the end of the report (but not the ones you may have read but didn't mention).

References are usually listed in alphabetical order (usually by author name) regardless of the citation system used. For each reference give the author's name, the year of publication, the full title of the book or article and other publication details. There are some differences depending on the kind of publication you are referring to.
