Structure
The title should be concise but informative. If necessary you can include a subtitle. The main function of the title is to tell the reader clearly and concisely what your work is about, i.e. the aim of your experiment. However, a recent trend which is also acceptable is to write titles based on conclusions rather than aims.
Titles should be detailed enough so that readers know:
- the subject being investigated
- the purpose
- the major parameters of your experiment (this can be your sample and/or method)
